Porcelain Labware is made of ceramic material, made by heating clay-type materials to high temperatures. Porcelain Labware is highly resistant to heat.

Porcelain Labware has many applications in a laboratory, such as fusion reactions, chemical analysis, mixture separation by evaporation and for certain other experiments that require high temperatures.

Porcelain Labware possesses properties like high melting points, great hardness & strength, low electrical & thermal conductivity and chemical inertness.

Use and Properties of High-Alumina Labware offered by MEDILAB are:

High-Alumina Labware made of 99.7% alumina or more is distinguished by its good plasma resistance, high purity and wear resistance.

These Labwares are highly refractory, meant for use, in reducing and oxidizing atmospheres. It is inert in hydrogen and carbonaceous atmospheres and offers high resistance to alkalis. Suitable for melting of glass, including borosilicate glass.

Recommended for use with refractory metals such as Molybdenum, Platinum, Rhodium, Tungsten, Tantalum and Iridium. High- Alumina Labware temperature change rate should not exceed 150 degrees/hour.
