Description
The MEDILAB L-Shaped Glass Spreader is a precision-crafted tool used for the uniform distribution of microbial cultures across agar surfaces. Designed for sterile, controlled, and repeatable applications, it is a key instrument for microbiology labs, QC/QA departments, and research facilities. Its robust borosilicate glass construction ensures reliability, easy sterilisation, and consistent performance for routine plating workflows.
Key Features
- Uniform Spreading Performance: Provides smooth and consistent distribution of liquid inoculum across agar plates.
- High-Quality Borosilicate 3.3: Offers excellent thermal resistance and chemical durability for repeated autoclaving.
- Flame-Sterilisable: Safe for direct flame sterilisation without deformation or cracking.
- Smooth Edges & Polished Surface: Ensures gentle spreading to avoid damaging agar surfaces.
- Reusable & Eco-Friendly: Long service life compared to disposable plastic spreaders.
- Accurate L-Shaped Design: Angle-optimised for ergonomic use and even plating coverage.
- Non-Porous Glass Body: Prevents residue accumulation, ensuring contamination-free handling.
